Title: Nerf Knife/Lance Post by: Lein on August 13, 2011, 09:58:14 am Back story on this. My cousin and I were messing around with a thunder fury and, well, broke it :'(. Trying to find something to do with it we came up with this ingenious idea to make a lance out of it.
What you'll need Some duct tape A medium thickness screw (try to find one that's really long) ThunderFury (might work with other n-force swords but I don't know) A length of 1/2 in PVC 1/2 in PVC coupler Drill and medium size drill bit Here's a pic of everything that you need (http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/6297/p1050016n.jpg) 1. Cut down n-force sword and put duct tape around where the handle used to be so it has a tight fit inside PVC coupler (http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/8259/p1050017e.jpg) 2. Drill with a medium sized drill bit (your choice of size) into PVC coupler WITH the Blade inside of it. (http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/1827/p1050018m.jpg) NOTE- when you drill into the PVC coupler make sure the drill bit is slightly smaller than the screw you're going to use. 3. Put screw into the drilled hole in the PVC coupler. (http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/4382/p1050021n.jpg) And you''re done! Now, here's the special part. You can use it as a knife. (http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/5683/p1050023k.jpg) I just happen to be a huge fan of lances so I always use this when I have wars with my friends. You could put one on both ends of the lance, then you could rock it Darth maul style. ;D
