Sssssooooooooooo. This whole thing started awhile back, as a promotion for the site where I am a moderator at, Home of Foam. The original design was created by the three people of the original M/A team. That design failed. I lost two drillbits to it, and got mad at it. So, I tried a bunch of different things. And then when I was talking to KiDD(chainhead1) of FU, he said that a PACsnap seemed huge to him. He's only 4ft. 10in., and the idea hit me. Make a tiny PACsnap. As fair as I know, its the smallest pump action homemade to date. Its only the size of a Deploy. Okay, enough intro, lets get to the writeup.

CREDIT GOES TO RYANMCNUMBERS FOR MAKING THE ORIGINAL PACBOW!!!

Materials

-2in. PVC

-3.4in. CPVC

-1/2in. CPVC

-E-tape

-1/2in. Dowel rod

-1in. Screws

-Pull cord (chainsaw starter rope)

-2in. Fender washers x 3

-2in. Rubber Fender washer x 2

-2.25in. Rubber Fender wahser (if you can find it. I'll have to get one from McMasters. I don't have one)

-1.25in. Tee

-1.25 to 1in. reducing bushing x 2

-1in. PVC

-Closepin

-Angle some kind of metal (does it matter which type of metal?)

-1in. endcap

-Duct Tape

-Hot glue

-goop

-Epoxy

-Whatever glue you want to use

-#10 finishing washer

-e-putty

-Popsicle sticks

-I'm probably forgetting something that I'll remember in the middle of the writeuo.

Okay, I like to start off with the tee. The first thing you have to do is take your reducing bushing and knock out those pesky ridges in the back of it with a Dremel.

(You could solvent weld this into the tee now, but I like to save the solvent welding for one time.)

Next, you want to cut a piece of 1in. PVC the same lenght as your tee.

(I know its blurry, you don't need to tell me.)

Solvent weld that thing together and it should look like this:

(I cut it to short)

Next, drill though the center of your tee with a 5/8in. Drill bit.

And solvent weld a piece of CPVC into it.

(You'll probably see this picture again...)

Fill the back of it with Hot glue. I filled the back with hot glue and goop (not pictured), just to be safe.

Now you'll want to work on your bow arms. Because the draw is shorter, I used 1.25in. for my bow arms. The bow arms are 3/4in. CPVC. You need to cut V notches in it.

You need to take a small piece of 1/2in. CPVC and put it in the back to keep the bow arms from flexing at the front. Your want it to be 2-3in. long. You need to wrap them in e-tape.

You need them to stay in, so you can glue them in. For some reason I chose to solvent weld them in, even though it shouldn't have worked. It worked, and I don't think they are comming out.

I didn't want these suckers to come out, so I screwed them in with 1in. screws.

This is what your bow arms should look like at this point.

So now that that is done, its time to start working on the body. Take your 2in. PVC and cut it to whatever length you want (I cut mine to 18in.)

(It's sitting on my projects folder...)

So here is what the messurements are on this thing. From the front to the slot has to be 4.25in. (the picture says 4in.). The slot has to be 4in., and behind that is where I estimate the trigger to be.

Cut your slot out (no picture, sorry!)

Take one of your 2in. Fender washers and ruff it up with sand paper.

Epoxy it down and let it dry overnight.

Now we need to cut a slot in the top of it so that you can put a screw through the hole.

( I did this to this endcap when I was a n00b...)

You need to make a ramp with e-putty which I didn't picture.... Its not that hard.

Plunger rod time!!! Take your 1.2in. dowel and cut it to 6in. (I think?)

Now its time to work on your plunger head make a washer sandwhich. It should be screw-finishing washer-fender washer- rubber fender washer-2.25in. rubber fender washer-rubber fender washer-fender washer, but I don't have a 2.25in. rubber fender washer.

Mine isn't right, so I'm not taking pictures of what it should look like.

Even though I didn't want to, I had to use an e-tape seal...

This is what your plunger rod should look like, you need to put a hole in it for the rope.

Trigger time!!! Take a closepin and put a pretty little hole in it with your drill.

Now its time to take your roofing nale. Mine is insaneley long...

Assemble your closepin trigger. Its not that hard. You shouldn't need a writeup for it...

Messure accurately and figure out where your trigger should be and make a mark and drill it.

Now you want to glue your trigger on (I was a retard and cut off the front of my trigger off the first time. Don't do it. It doesn't work)

Now glue your handle on. I solvent welded a scrap piece of 1.25in. PVC to it for a handle.

Here is the most creative part. I couldn't find a size of PVC that would fit good for a pump grip over 2in. PVC. Before I got into Nerf, one of my hobbies was making things out of popsicle sticks, duct tape, and hot glue. So first you want to wrap it in duct tape backwards (not to tight).

Now, line this thing in possicle sticks.

Wrap it in duct tape.

Now, take your dremel and cut off the wood hanging out.

Now, its time for some stuff I didn't picture. Wrap the tee in etape until it fits snug and airtight in the 2in. PVC. Also, you need to attach the string to the bowarm. You need to tie a not in the string, run it through the v notch, wrap it around, and make sure it ends through the v.

So, thats it. I don't have a picture of it finished yet. I like it, its fun. I also don't have ranges on it yet.

ITS BEUATIFUL!

I don't have a finished picture... You just like it because it fits you nice. This blaster doesn't have to be as long as it is. I can be extremely short. Around a foot long.
