So I got some vintage nerf guns (only three) tody and one of them was a SM1500.  Sadly it was broken so I opened it up to fix it and, broke it again.  It seems to have a leak in the tubing/tank so if any of you know where there are some weak spots in that vicinity please.  HELO Shocked Shocked

Maybe some pics... With perhaps some informatively drawn arrows?

Pump the tank up, and listen carfully for the leak. Once you find the general area, grab some crazy glue, and lightly cover the area, and let it sit awhile. After about 20 min, pump it up again, and see if the leak is still there. An alternative to the listening, is place the tank assembly underwater and pump it up. The bubbles will be where it's leaking. Dry it off, apply crazy glue, let it sit, try again to be sure.

Edit #3: I spelled the name wrong, so for about 10 minutes, our website logo was "Hoe of Foam".

Often the back of the SM1500 tank is vulnerable to leaks. Also the area around the firing pin often begins to leak. If it is from the back, get a 1 inch PVC end cap and epoxy it on. The easiest way to find a leak is to pump it up, then submerge in water and see where it is leeking from. Take a look at this: .
Hope that helps and good luck! Smiley
