The idea behind this design is to reduce the deadspace sometimes associated with breeches. I sunk a small section of copper wire into both the sheath and barrel of my breech with a soldering iron. Do keep the barrel and sheath together as you heat up the wire. I used needlenose pliers to hold the wire near the middle, and heated one end of the wire. I then repeated the process on the other side until it was at the desired depth. Notice that the wire does not reach the edges of the pvc to prevent any chance of gouging the coupler. I glued in the wire to just the sheath and went over the edges of the barrel notch with an x-acto.

It takes a little while to get used to in usage. I placed a mark on the side of my barrel to remind me where the barrel locks up. It's likely unsuited as a replacement for a locking lug on higher powered blasters. On my heavy spring NF it provides enough tension to keep the barrel from moving forward during firing nicely.

This is a really good idea for keaping the deadspace down in a breech. Nice work.

Moved, seeing as this is more a homemade than a modification to a blaster itself.

Edit #3: I spelled the name wrong, so for about 10 minutes, our website logo was "Hoe of Foam".
