So, after reading Rogue's deploy write-up, I went out and bought one. After reading all of the negative comments about it, I decided to mod it up for cheap. This entire build costed me like 6 dollars (minus the deploy).

Materials:
PETG or 9/16in. brass (brass recommended)
17/32in. brass
Epoxy

Optional materials:
RFDG spring OR an OMW spring

Yes, that is all you will need for the deploy. You have to Stefan mod you clip, though, so you'll need 1/8in. music wire. Just mod you clip Bob's way. It's superior to the other ways.

So, after you've bought your materials, open up you deploy. Follow Rogue's deploy write-up to open up the blaster. This is the only part we'll be focusing on for the write-up:

You’re going to want to save most things, especially the white piece. Now, take out your plunger tube and cut it back to here:

You’re actually cutting behind the air restrictors, so you don't have to drill them out. Next, you have to cut the PETG for you breech. Cut a 7in. long piece, with a 3in. slot feeder thingy (I don't know what to call it), and dremel/belt sand until the clip will go over it without resistance.

Cut a piece of 17/32in. brass about 6in. in length. I started out with one 6 1/2in. long, and cut it back until I got it just right (which I think is around 6in.)

Glue that biotch into the plunger tube stub (that thing we cut) about 1/2in. back. (Sorry no picture). Now, take your PETG piece and fit it into the orange dart tooth. Test fit it with your breech until you can pull it back far enough so that the 17/32in. doesn't come off, but far enough forward so that the darts feed. Here is the finish picture, after you do the previous steps:

Now take the white piece, and glue a stub of PETG or scrap 9/16in. brass into it. I had scrap 9/16, and if you use PETG, you’re going to want to dremel it out until you get a slide fit.

This makes sure that your breech stays aligned. Now, do whatever you want to the seal, upgrade your spring, and remove whatever locks you want. Then you’re done!

Pretty awesome, right? Mine shoots 50ft. flat with slugs, and I plan to bring the power up a little bit more. With glue domes, it will make a worthy primary. It should be getting 70s with them. So go have fun and shoot your friends!

You really illustrate this well and the design doesn't look daunting like some setups I have seen. The performance is impressive and I can imagine this being a fun and effective blaster. I will be picking up a deploy and trying this!

Would you say that the deploy's internals are sturdier than a longstrike?

Thanks. And hell yes, these internals are study (minus the PT which needs reinforcements). Everything in it is pacted together, which makes the internal setup sturdier than other RP blasters.
