My first war - Philly

I will have the opportunity to play at my first war soon. It's being organized by koree and hongfu both of whom I have pm'd in the past and who seem great. I might however get to shoot at Langley so that's cool.

What are some things you wish you could have done differently at your first war? Common mistakes? Must have items?

Here's my loadout so far. It's in a month. I will likely bring some extra guns too. The reflex needs some detuning and the swarmfire will have a sensible setup inside. Yeah.


 
There's 2 primarys, 2 secondarys, 2 shotguns and lots of extra pistols. I want to bring silicone darts but will make & bring slugs. The big shotgun is to show off but the little BB UMB one shouldn't get banned.

The one thing I wish I did differently at my first war, would be to come better equipped.  I expected to be buying a singled LS to use all day, and nor did I know it was for stefans, it broke on me. 

Looks like i'll NEVER face that problem again, and you never will.

If I could've done something different, I would've modded my guns lol. I bought the coolest looking gun I could find at walmart. I didn't know how bad the LSK sucked, and I didn't mod back then...

If you think something needs reinforcement, it probably does. Having been to only one war, which was a stock war, I can say: definitely take a variety of primaries. I took my WSBB, and while it rocked, especially with the ammo rail, I played half the rounds with a borrowed blaster (he had lots of spares).

I think I just died a little bit when I saw you were hosting a war in Philly. Do you have any other details? (I live in Philly)

Oh I'm not hosting at all. koree and hogfu are. I will very likely be there though. Here's there post from nrev. They also posted on nh.
