Many of us Nerfers make are own darts, they very from one Nerfer to another. This is the place to post pics of your darts, say how you did it, perhaps some of the dimensions, and some advice to help out others. Also, they don't have to be extremely unique, (Although it is quite awesome if they are) just show us what you did, so we can:

1. Help you with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. A.K.A "helpful" criticism, not "Douche bag" criticism... Like "Your darts suck you noob, get you mommy to help you and come back when you get a brain transplant, and get IQ above 10, you son of a motherless goat!

2. So you can help us.

Don't be shy, lets see some of those darts!

One of my slingshot weighted streamlines. For range testing, not shooting at people.
May soon post directions.

Exactly why I didn't post instructions to make them. Anyone who's smart enough to figure out how to make them should be smart enough to not shoot them at anyone.

Wouldn't they hurt the same as a glue dome?

They have slingshot weights in the tips. I'm pretty sure that in a ar removed nitefinder, they would sting a good bit more than glue. Hot glue flexes a good bit, metal doesn't(the kind we use anyway, not like Mercury). I'm not even willing to try them on myself.

And anything you wouldn't want shot at yourself shouldn't be shot at other people. Those tips must be really heavy, with the wheight of the stock tip and the  slingshot wheights. I can never rearload streamlines into CPVC. I get them most of the way, and then they get stuck and I have to get some stick and shove it down the hole (thats what she said.)

That's why I said I only use them for range testing.

I figured out a super-easy way to make dome darts using only hi-temp hot glue and some washers. I can't do gravity domes with hi-temp hot glue, neither can I roll them easily, so I made some using surface tension.

I have a video you can watch here:
Or, if you don't like long, boring, terrible videos, I will describe them below.

Basically, all you have to do is take your washers, lay them flat on a surface, and fill them with hot glue. The molten glue will form a dome shape over the washer, just like a drop of water. Only bigger. I would suggest taking wooden sticks or short pieces of nail and gluing them into the domes, so you have a peg you can stick into the dart. The video shows how to do this without making death darts. That way, you can apply some hot glue to the peg, and then let it cool off before pushing it into the dart; also, the peg helps you center the dome on the dart.

The video also describes how to make double-washer darts, but I wouldn't suggest that unless you've got a really high power gun.

I don't have any "normal" guns right now, so does anybody want to whip up a batch and do some range testing? Cheesy

Funny you mention that because the first time we played with them (there are three kids) we lost about 15% of the discs cause I was the only one dartsweeping (discsweeping?). Considering they have about 200 discs total that is a sh*t ton of discs.
